This post is clearly not about Mobile Devices but it is about being able to Experience Mobility, enjoying Golf and having the best experience with your clubs. If you are a golfer and have thought about getting custom clubs then you definitely need to read this and end up visiting Cook’s Custom Clubs .
My brother was always one of these guys that could build anything and the result was always something that looked like it was built by a professional. As we grew up I saw him build a variety of items that were always incredible.

The first thing I remember him building was a soap box derby car that looked as if it came right from an automobile showroom. He built a telescope but not only did he make the telescope, he ground by hand the mirror used in the optic system. He spent hours in the backyard grinding the mirror to almost near perfect specifications.
As time went on, he made (and flew) 3 full-sized airplanes that were all pretty incredible. One project I really enjoyed was his desire to create a real railroad steam engine. He made all of the molds for casting parts and eventually ended up with an engine that ran on steam and could carry you around a set of train tracks (made for model engineers). It was an awesome experience to go to the RR club and see all these folks run their creations.
So my brother has spent a lifetime creating and today he is still instilled with the desire to create incredible products. Jim is an avid golfer and typical with his style, he is not just a golfer but filled with the desire to create outstanding golf clubs. So he took the professional golf courses needed to make clubs and is now a certified Class A Clubmaker. In addition he is a founding Member of the International Club Maker’s Guild.

So I wanted to try alternative software for blog posting and found Diarist quite by accident. It was incredibly easy to setup and very easy to add a picture.
So with the latest version of IE9 on Windows Phone, two features are not there that would be nice to have: Find On Page and Forward. Often times when something is not included (or missing) someone eventually comes out with a way to get it and this trick to get both features is real easy to setup and use. In fact, I find the ‘Find on Page” a very convenient tool to have.
In a nutshell, the guys on XDA-Developers came up with a real easy way to do it using a Favorite in IE. Check it out … it is very cool and more importantly, it works!
Click this link Find On Page / Forward bookmarklets – xda-developers and see how easy it is to set up and use!
So if you decide to use it, the UPDATED code to insert in the web address area is long so be VERY Careful in making a copy. I sent myself an email with the Javascript … it was easier to do it that way.
(As an aside, I have it working on both my AT&T Focus and HTC Mozart … works perfectly!)
Sometimes it is important to get a post up when you are away from your PC. WordPress has a Windows Phone 7 app that makes posting short posts easy.
You can format text and add pictures easily.
In addition, you can go back and edit the post if corrections are needed.
The picture below is a quick shot that of my Asus Slate I took with my AT&T Focus for this post.

Of course another neat thing is that even if the look and feel of your post is not quite what you wanted, you can always open Live Writer on your PC and make edits when you get home. This app is not a replacement for doing all your posts but it sure is pretty darn good for that quick post you need to have up right away. Give it a shot … I think you will like it.
There are so many neat features with Windows Phone including the ability to play a myriad of games. What is even better is the integration of Xbox Live games which will make your experience even richer.
When I need that short break, I often find myself playing Minesweeper (which was released this past summer for Windows Phone). It is well done and has some cool powerups and achievements.
It’s FREE and guaranteed to give you hours of pleasure!

Check out the great games available in the Windows Phone Marketplace.
If you have a WordPress website then checkout the free app for Windows Phone 7.
It is simple, easy to set up and will allow you to post "on the fly". Of course, you can not only add text but pictures as well like the one below of my new puppy “Neely”.

What I like about it is you have a means to get something up quickly and if you need to edit later, you can do so easily with what ever you use for blogging software. It is definitely worth checking out!

Eric Hautala from the Windows Phone blog has posted a brief article related to Mango. In a nutshell, it is coming within the next week or so. Keep in mind it will be a gradual rollout so you may not get it the first day but you will get it very soon.
There are a few important links to note if you want to check the status of YOUR update. When the rollout begins, they will refresh the Where’s My Phone Update? table to reflect the worldwide rollout status.
Eric also gave a word of caution about installing unofficial or leaked copies of Windows Phone software. Keep in mind that the software for YOUR device has been matched to it perfectly and installing bootleg updates and homebrew tools can (and often does) create issues with a device.
Lastly, there are new versions of both the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac and the Zune software for PCs, which you’ll need to update your phone. Take the few minutes to install and you will see a speed up in the overall update process and it will give you more control over backups.
You can read Eric’s article here: Where’s Mango? An update on timing
